The Wilmore Free Methodist Church does not provide clinical or professional counseling services. It does provided pastoral counseling, mentoring and support groups. If you are in need of help, we will be glad to assist you as best we can. If your needs surpass what we are able to provide, we will be happy to refer you to a local professional counselor.
 
     
 
Divorce Recovery

  This group is comprised of women who are either in the process of divorce or have been recently divorced and who seek healing, friendship and support within the church community. Meets as needed. Contact the church office for details.  
     
 
Financial Counseling

  The Financial Counseling Team helps guide persons through decisions regarding budgeting, financial planning, retirement, and other significant steps with their personal finances. If you struggle with finances and are willing to recieve one-on-one help and guidance, contact a member of the pastoral staff.  
     
 
Finding the Love of Your Life
Led by: Student Ministry Team
 
  Meets: Varies  
  A seminar that leads youth between the ages of 10 and 14 through a process of discernment in dating, courting, finding and evaluating "that special one." Before this seminar is given a parents meeting is held to inform parents about the specific subject matter covered  
     
 
Homebuilders Class
Led by: Ben & Renee Riffell
 
  Meets: Sunday mornings 9:40 to 10:45 am  
  The vision of the Homebuilders Adult Bible Fellowship class is to study how God's Word speaks practically to present-day families. Each week the class begins with fellowship over breakfast followed by a special time of prayer. Scripture is then read and application is made to current day-to-day living. The class hosts monthly fellowship opportunities for members and their families to get together.  
     
 
Money Management Seminar
Led by: FPU Team
 
  Meets: Twice a year  
  Using Financial Peace University material, small groups are led through the basics of budgeting, financial planning, estate planning, tithing, and a Biblical view of finances. A very helpful course that is offered two to three times per year.  
     
 
Pastoral Counseling

  Any of our pastoral staff are glad to meet with individuals, couples, families and small groups to discuss needs and concerns. If your needs surpass what they are able to provide, they will be happy to refer you to a local professional counselor.  
     
 
Pornography Support Group

  It is a sad fact of life that pornography addiction is running rampant in our country; even in evangelical churches. Helping stop pornography addictions through prayer, study and accountability is the mission of this men's group. PSG members seek holiness of heart and life, including freedom from all sexual addictions and those things that feed them. Contact Pastor Daryl directly for details.  
     
 
Premarital Mentoring
Led by: Marriage & Family Team
 
  Meets: Varies  
  WFMC's premarital mentoring program pairs up happily married couples trained in mentoring techniques with engaged or thinking of becoming engaged couples moving toward marriage.
